Dine and party in the unique setting of an urban aquaponics farm, nestled within Marrickville’s industrial area. In this extraordinary venue, you’ll be surrounded by mushrooms growing in buckets, vegetables in aquaponics systems, and swimming fish amongst the backdrop of a multistorey mural by a Timorese graffiti artist.
Meals are cooked by the owner and chef in an open campfire kitchen where you can see how everything grows and cooked. The venue offers a range of meal options from buffet style dinners for large groups to plated meals at seated tables for smaller gatherings.
This one-of-a-kind venue can be hired for all sorts of occasions — concerts, birthday celebrations, holiday parties, product launches, panel discussions and more. There is a stage with an AV system, bar, and floor space for dancing or seated meals.
This is an outdoor venue (with cover) that can be booked during the warmer months of September until March. Proceeds from booking this experience help conservation efforts in Papua New Guinea to protect endangered turtles and reefs.
Prices start from $50 - $170 per person depending on food and drink requirements.
Optional Talk
You can also include the option to book a talk and Q&A session with the owner of this remarkable space, Daz. A conservationist with fascinating tales, such as kayaking for 5 months from Australia to Papua New Guinea, Daz transformed this farm from a former meat factory into the unique venue it is today.
