Join a beautiful guided bush walk with an Aboriginal Guide and learn how Aboriginal people have been looking after Australian land and waterways for more than 70,000 years.
Your group will deepen your understanding of connection to country and Aboriginal culture, learn about First Nations approaches to sustainability, and have a hands-on session with Aboriginal tools, weapons, and resources.
This experience is offered in three locations:
- Irrawong Falls (North Narrabeen): A nature preserve with a tranquil waterfall.
- The Coal Loader (Waverton): A sustainability site with views of Sydney harbour. Includes a bush tucker garden where you can learn about traditional and contemporary uses of native plants and rock art.
- Berry Island Reserve (North Sydney): Situated along the peninsula with stunning harbourside views and bush walk.
This experience can be customised with optional bush food tasting, traditional weaving workshops such as making fishing lines and other interactive activities.
Group size starts from 15 people (although smaller sizes can be accommodated) and large groups up to 120 people can be accommodated in the Coal Loader and Berry Island Reserve locations. Prices start from $49 per person.
This experience supports a 100% Aboriginal owned and staffed organisation (Supply Nation certified).
